Racing Prodigy Chandler Smith Dominates on his Debut Bristol Run

On August 15th, seventeen year old Chandler Smith made his debut on the legendary half-mile of UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Although Smith only competed in nine of the fifteen races this season due to age restrictions, he still makes his mark on the racetrack by leading the ARCA Menards Series and achieving consistent top-five finishes. Back in June, he achieved fourth place at the CarShield 200 Race. With faith in his immense talent and respect for his hard work, Smith makes us proud when he makes headlines and achieves victory with the iBUYPOWER logo on the hood of his Tundra.

At Bristol, Chandler Smith drove the No. 51 iBUYPOWER Tundra for Kyle Busch motorsports. Starting on the seventh spot, Smith moved to top five within 26 laps. He maintained this top rank through the first two stages. In the final 90 laps, Smith fell to sixth due to issues with his truck. However, with determination, Smith worked his way back up the ranks. Starting and finishing strong, he placed second, just beaten by Brett Moffit.

According to Smith, “I can’t thank Rudy, I can’t thank KBM, iBUYPOWER, Toyota enough for this incredible opportunity. We’ve definitely made the most of it.”
