Experience Performance with iBUYPOWER and Toyota Racing Development (TRD)
iBUYPOWER has partnered with TRD to give consumers the best of equipment for performance you can feel. This partnership transcends the race track or the esports arena. iBUYPOWER and TRD offer users quality components for every aspect of success- in both personal and professional life. According to Darren Su, Executive Vice President of iBUYPOWER, “[iBUYPOWER and TRD] share the same desire to provide our customers with a premium product and iBUYPOWER wants to be able to rpovide the TRD team with the best vehicle for off-track practice and gaming in their downtime. “
The partnership began with iBUYPOWER outfitting the entire TRD team with iBP’s remastered Pro Series of workstation PCs. No matter the software or the difficulty of graphics, these systems allow their users to experience smooth workflow and encourages productivity. Not only does iBUYPOWER care about the everyday professional, but they also supplied TRD with gaming PCs that form the backbone of an esports zone at the Toyota Performance Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This facility focuses on the medical, nutritional, fitness, and recreational needs drivers have to maintain a competitive edge on the track. Now with a gaming zone, TRD drivers can improve on their hand eye coordination through virtual practice or just relax after a stressful day of racing.
iBUYPOWER will also appear on the track in events like the UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway and the Lucas Oil 150 at ISM Raceway in the No.51 iBUYPOWER Tundra. For other Southern California esports events, iBUYPOWER will showcase their custom iBUYPOWER-themed Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Truck upon arrival.
Furthermore, iBUYPOWER, Intel, and TRD collaborated to launch a number of TRD approved systems. These PCs will use the latest, top of the line Intel CPU and Intel Solid State Storage. According to Jack Irving, Senior Manager, Commercial Director of Toyota Racing Development, ” iBUYPOWER has demonstrated their consumer-first mentality through their quality builds, and TRD – from our professionals to our racers – can benefit from this trustworthy performance.” With TRD approved systems, users can trust to experience the best of performance, no matter the game or task.
This partnership also opens opportunities for hardworking university students, through a new room makeover series “Room for Improvement.” To be posted on the iBUYPOWER YouTube channel, iBUYPOWER PC, these videos will reward a lucky student with a new TRD approved iBUYPOWER system, desk, and other accessories necessary for a comfortable, personalized room.
