Teenage NASCAR Driver, Chandler Smith, Places 4th in CarShield 200 Race
One month ago, iBUYPOWER and Toyota Racing Development announced the creation of a new gaming zone at Toyota Performance Center. Developed to help drivers improve hand-eye coordination and reaction time, it may already be proving useful in helping players’ performances. On Saturday, June 22, 16-year-old Chandler Smith impressively cinched fourth place at Carshield 200 presented by CK Power with the No.46 iBUYPOWER/828 Logistics Tundra. When asked about his race, Smith stated, “Thank you to iBUYPOWER\828 Logistics for all they’ve done for me to make this possible. It was an adventure, but it definitely paid off .” His KBM teammates also had impressive finishes with Todd Gilliland finishing second, Christian Eckes finishing 14th, and Harrison Burton, finishing 16th.
iBUYPOWER will be represented on the hood of Smith’s Toyota for Smith’s final three Gander Trucks events this season
On August 15, Smith will be back behind the wheel of the No. 51 iBUYPOWER Tundra for the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.
