WEEK IN REVIEW
Over the past week, we’ve seen teams battle in the following major events (GFinity, ESL, the ESL monthly finals & IRCL). In GFinity, Supersonic Avengers defeated YouMyZero, Smokin Rockets, & WreckingRL on their way to the Finals where they bested myXMG (4-1) in a Best-of-7. Also in attendance were FlipSid3 Tactics (who lost to Smokin Rocket, 3-2), SK Gaming (who lost to myXMG, 0-3, PeaceHater (who lost to SK Gaming, 2-3), Team Rocket (who lost to myXMG, 1-3), and Noble eSports (who lost to myXMG, 1-3). In ESL, PeaceHater reigned supreme with a narrow 4-3 win over The 3 Musketeers in the Finals. They also defeated Torched (3-2), myXMG (3-1), and Useless Brakes (3-0) along the way. The 3 Musketeers, relative newcomers to the competitive scene, had a pretty solid showing with a 3-1 win over YouMyZero, 3-2 win over Spectral, and 3-1 win over orKS.RL to help them get to the Finals where they took PeaceHater to 7 games before bowing out. In the ESL Monthly Finals, Teamus Weamus (with the help of Markydooda as a sub) took top honors by beating Smokin Rockets in the Finals (4-3), PeaceHater (3-1), and YouMyZero (3-1). As great of a win as that is, it doesn’t get counted for much in the Power Rankings due to the fact that they had a sub (not their starting line up) and due to the fact that this particular sub is what we refer to as a “super sub,” or someone who is widely considered one of the best in the game. They will, however, be eligible for an ESL Monthly Elite title along with the rest of the teams who finished in the Top 4 of the EU ESL Monthly Final.

#1 SK Gaming: X3MW / Dadooh / JHZER / Yemen | Up 1
Since the beginning of the EU Power Rankings, the top spot has been reserved for one team in particular. However, due to back-to-back weeks of lackluster performance in other tournaments by Flipsid3 Tactics, the door has been opened for SK Gaming to finally take over the #1 spot in the EU Power Rankings. While SK didn’t exactly have the best week this week, their overall performance as of late has outshined Flipsid3 and solidified their well-deserved placement atop this week’s Top 10. With the upcoming RLC Pro League, now the EU rivalries will continue to be tested and provide some interesting fodder for these rankings. -Shalthis
#2 FlipSid3 Tactics: Markydooda / Kuxir97 / M1k3rules | Down 1
At long last, the mighty have fallen. For the first time, we have a team unanimously ranked #1 that isn’t FlipSid3 Tactics. Though, to be fair, this week these teams could essentially be tied for 1st as neither of them have significantly outdone the other. After having a strong showing in the last few weeks of Rocket Royale (netting back-to-back-to-back wins), F3 subsequently fell to SK Gaming (0-4), Dot Dot Dot (0-3), and Smokin Rockets (2-3) in the past 2 weeks. This is completely out of character for them, but is likely more of a sign that the competitive scene in EU is growing even closer. This squad still commands a great deal of respect and will likely bounce back in a big way very soon, but until then… they will have to settle for the #2 spot. -CloudFuel
#3 PeaceHater: Paschy90 / xGodLiightx / Killerno7 / Sikiicem | Up 1
It has taken PeaceHater well over a month to scratch and claw their way back into the top 3, but following a series of big wins including ESL, they’re showing a return to form that has been long overdue. While breaking into that top 2 is a bit more challenging, this week’s EU results clearly show that any team can lose any given day, and the door can swing open for PeaceHater, myXMG, or Noble to crash SK and Flipside’s party. The name of the game is always consistency, and PeaceHater is showing a solid streak of forward momentum, but they still have work to do if they’ll challenge the big dogs. -Shalthis
#4 myXMG: al0t / Sniperkid138 / Turbopolsa | Up 1
The players of myXMG have been on a steady trend up the Power Rankings for over a month now. During that time, they’ve netted some really big wins against teams like SK Gaming, Noble eSports, Spectral, Smokin Rockets, and the now disbanded Dot Dot Dot. They haven’t yet beat FlipSid3 Tactics or PeaceHater, but at the rate they’re going it’s not an unlikely feat. -CloudFuel
#5 Noble eSports: Skyline / Vogan / Stocki1997 / Oneill_Clan / Meeps | Down 2
Noble has had a bit of a difficult time as of late, struggling to repeat the success they saw during their first few weeks when running with their full team. As it stands right now, Noble’s performance isn’t so poor as to take them completely out of contention, but they’ve lost a bit of the shine they had. Regardless of whether they’re using their official subs or their normal roster, there seems to be a bit of a hiccup for Noble and hopefully their upcoming performances will be enough to turn it around. -Shalthis
#6 Supersonic Avengers: ELMP / gReazy / Maestro / Snaski | New
Supersonic Avengers makes a triumphant return to the Top 10 this week after a startingly solid showing at Gfinity this past Friday, capturing some significant wins and taking the entire tournament over myXMG in a 4-1 series. Avengers have crashed into the rankings again like the Kool Aid Man, but consistency is the name of the game. While they’ve managed to place very high this week, their spot depends entirely on if they can maintain that performance going into other tournaments. -Shalthis
#7 Spectral: TJShorty / Dkyhnee / remkoe | Down 1
Spectral seem to be cruising along on their ships this week. During ESL this week they managed to make their way through to the semi-finals, where they lost 3-2 to the new and upcoming team The 3 Musketeers, but during their IRCL match they beat Teamus Weamus 3-0. If Spectral want to work their way up, they just put that little bit of extra spice into the pot, cook up some roast dinner, feed it to their opponents, and then score whilst they’re distracted. It’s a recipe for success. -Doomsee
#8 Smokin Rockets: desgadelhado / fredd97 / techtox / Scrub Killa | Up 2
Smokin Rockets (or Gold Rush as they’ve been calling themselves lately) had some pretty big wins this past week, namely against FlipSid3 Tactics & Noble eSports. Their losses to myXMG, PeaceHaters, and Supersonic Avengers are really the only reason that they haven’t moved up any higher this week. They have had a bit of a tough run lately, spiraling steadily downwards and very nearly dropping out of the Power Rankings. This week they jump up 2 spots, however, and appear to be making a bit of a resurgence. -CloudFuel
#9 The 3 Musketeers: AndiBO15 / Ryuk / ViolentPanda | New
The 3 Musketeers had a great showing a week and ended up being listed as my team to watch in last week’s Power Rankings. This past week, though, they put together an even better run and earn a place in the Top 10 for the first time! With a close 7 game series against PeaceHater, a 3-2 win over Spectral, a 3-1 win over YouMyZero, and a 3-1 win over orkS.RL, this squad burst onto the scene with something to prove. I’ve been tracking them for about a month and they have been consistently trending upwards with solid placement and sizable wins, but they’ve really kicked it into overdrive over the past 2 weeks. Only time will tell if they make themselves a household name or if they falter and drop back out of the Top 10. -CloudFuel
#10 YouMyZero : Linkuru / Anduru / Pwndx10 | Down 2
YouMyZero played in ESL, the ESL November Monthly Finals and their IRCL matches this week. During ESL they made their way to the Ro16 where they lost to The 3 Musketeers. During the monthly finals, they lost 3-1 in the first round versus a spercharged Teamus Weamus who were playing with Markydooda, so we won’t hold that against them. And in their 2 IRCL matches this week they lost 3-0 to Team Rocket and beat Teamus Weamus 3-0.-Doomsee
#10 Team Rocket: Doomsee / Cole / ? | Down 1
After Team Rocket’s recent kindabutnotreally disbanding, things looked super unclear for their future. Well, after their first week they basically continued to do absolutely nothing. During GFinity this week they did an alright job at making their way to the Ro16 where they were taken down 3-1 by myXMG. After GFinity, Team Rocket were more determined and confident than ever before leading up to ESL. They knew they had to prove to the world that they’re a team to fear. Sunday was their chance to show what they’re made of! They were so confident that they didn’t even enter the tournament, with Doomsee oversleeping and missing the check-in period. Classic. Oh well, at least they beat YouMyZero 3-0 the next day during the IRCL match. -Doomsee
